ANANDA ABDULLAH

I’m Abdullah, born in Samarinda in 2006, raised in Singapore from the age of three to nine, and now living in Yogyakarta.

I’m currently in my seventh semester studying Electronics and Instrumentation at UGM.

I love sprinting—who doesn’t want to be fast? It fits how I work: think fast, act fast, and pounce. In Japan, I learnt that sprinting feels more like pouncing than just running.

I’ve been fascinated with IT since I was little. I practically grew up on the internet. I’m curious and love doing things for the fun of it. I don’t really see challenges as challenges—it’s all fun.

I spent a year at Kobe University. Living on my own gave me a freedom that made me feel alive. I sang a cappella, volunteered on farms in Sasayama, joined the track and field team, did landscaping, and taught kids. I did plenty more—some stories I’ll tell, others I’ll keep to myself. I met a lot of people and found family along the way.
